Dutch government confirms 1 July start for gambling ad ban
All television and radio adverts, as well as ads in public spaces, such as on billboards, will be banned from 1 July. However, advertising on the Internet and television on demand will be allowed, but under strict conditions.
Internet advertising such as social media and targeted advertisements will only be permitted if an operator can actively prevent these adverts from reaching young people under the age of 24. Targeted ads at consumers in this age bracket is illegal in the Netherlands.

Denmark has committed an additional $4.4m to address problem gambling in the country
Between 2023 and 2025, DKK10m will be released each year by Denmark to support problem gambling ongoing efforts and projects, with recent research having suggested that almost 500,000 Danes suffer from problem gambling in some form.

BetMGM growth drives revenue up 22% at Entain in Q1
NGR was 22% higher year-on-year when including its 50% share in the BetMGM business it operates in partnership with MGM Resorts International in the US. Excluding US operations, NGR was still up 15%.
BetMGM NGR was up 94% to approximately $470m (£379m/€429m), in line with guidance of between $1.80bn and $2.00bn in revenue for the full year.
Entain said BetMGM had a 28% igaming market share and sports betting market share in the state where the brand is active, helped by successful Super Bowl and March Madness events and strong customer acquisition during the quarter.
